Oliver started with AdviceCo in February 2026 as a Trainee Accountant, working with Associate Director, Debbie Bloffwitch’s team. In this role, Oliver supports the accounting team with a range of compliance and reporting tasks, bringing a thoughtful and detail-focused approach to their work.
Prior to joining AdviceCo, Oliver gained valuable frontline experience working as a receptionist and manager across the healthcare, hospitality, events, and community sectors. These roles helped build strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills, providing a solid foundation for a career in accounting and advisory services.
Oliver is currently in the final year of a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of New South Wales, majoring in Accounting and Human Resource Management. This combination reflects a strong interest in the intersection between financial performance, people management, people management, and organisational strategy.
Driven by passion for problem-solving, Oliver was drawn to accounting for its ability to translate numbers and data into clear, actionable insights that support sustainable outcomes. Oliver particularly enjoys using accounting to help people make informed decisions, aligning analytical thinking with a genuine desire to support others.
Outside of work and study, Oliver enjoys spending time at the beach, going for walks, especially with his dogs, and spending time with family and friends, often over coffee or breakky.
