Matthew joined AdviceCo after completing a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Newcastle in 2025. Prior to pursuing a career in accounting, he worked as a Real Estate Leasing Agent, managing properties across the Gosford and Wyong regions. His experience in the property industry provided a strong foundation in organisation, communication and teamwork, skills that continue to support him in his current role.
After rediscovering his interest in accounting during his studies, Matthew returned to university to further his education and build a career in the profession. He enjoys the analytical nature of accounting and sees it as solving a puzzle, bringing together pieces of financial information to gain a clear understanding of an individual’s or organisation’s financial position. Helping clients make informed decisions from those insights is one of the most rewarding aspects of his work.
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys spending time with family and friends and is looking forward to returning to cricket. He is also a passionate supporter of the Wests Tigers and rarely misses a chance to follow his team.
