Debbie says “The view of the sunrise on Palm Beach was exceptional as we commenced our 55 kilometre trek along Sydney’s spectacular coastline to Balmoral.

The water glistened, the sun shone, the scenery was impressive, the challenge was interesting and the company was warm and embracing.

Thank you to Sally Hart, who gave me the opportunity to turn an ordinary March Friday into a more meaningful day.

A BIG congratulations to the Fred Hollows Foundation, the volunteers, the trekkers and their supporters for raising $2.5m which will be used to restore the sight to thousands of people who are needlessly blind.
