James comes to AdviceCo with over 12 years experience in the Financial Planning industry. In a previous role as a Senior Financial Advisor at a major bank, James assisted hundreds of customers with a broad range of tailored advice. James graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Commerce, is an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and Tax Practitioners Board (TPB).

James is passionate about taking the complexities out of advice for his clients. He simplifies the process, educating and leaving them feeling empowered along the way. His mantra is to ‘put the client at the centre of everything we do’, irrespective of the intricate, sophisticated or straightforward nature of the strategy.

James grew up on the Central Coast and lives in Wamberal with his wife Alison, and 3 children – Evie, George and Charlie. Having commuted to the city for a number of roles, he loves the fact that he can work so close to home in a profession that he is passionate about, and with like-minded people.
