Our Community program is an important part of our commitment to give back to the community we live and work with. This Financial Year, in partnership with the Count Charitable Foundation, we have donated $21,000 to Central Coast Outreach Services, OXFAM Australia, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Central Coast SOS Financial Counselling, Coast Shelter, The Iris Foundation, Camp Breakaway and Gosford Hospital.
All of these charities support vulnerable members of our community to get back up on their feet. We are a stronger, healthier and happier community because of their work, and it has been an absolute pleasure to contribute to them this year.

Volunteering is a powerful way to generate connection, empathy and compassion and our 21 staff members turned off their computers on Friday 24 May to partner with Coast Shelter in a backyard blitz effort for two youth refuges on the Central Coast.
Our hope was to brighten up the outdoor area so the residents could find a quiet space to relax and clear their minds, or a communal place for social connection.
The team dirtied their hands removing weeds, constructing hammocks, creating organic compost bins and veggie gardens to complement the household cooking, top-soiling the lawns and planting a variety of plants to brighten up the shared spaces.
The Count Charitable Foundation is an important supporter and enabler of the Robson Partners community program and came to the party with $5,000 to cover the cost of the blitz for Coast Shelter.
The show of collaboration between the Count Charitable Foundation and the generous people that make up our team at Robsons was inspirational.
Coast Shelter’s Refuge Program Manager, Peter Downie said: “The team were able to get a significant amount of work done that we just can’t always get to when we’re here with the young people. They achieved more in three hours than we have in six years working on the yard. We rely on corporate volunteers and donors like Robsons to help us achieve more than just the necessities. We want the young people to feel at home when they come to us, and a thriving backyard is helpful in achieving that.”
Reflecting on our community involvement helps us to clarify our goals for the next Financial Year. We plan to continue our local support and make a positive difference where we can.
