Robson Partners in the Community Posted on December 13, 2018

Community giving

So we ran a report on what we’ve been involved with this year and were pleasantly surprised to learn we’ve donated $35,600 to local charities.

There are many parties that make this possible. It starts with our generous staff, and a dollar matching system between Robson Partners and Count Charitable Foundation.

This has enabled us to support:

  • Community SOS Central Coast: The Coast’s most depended-upon financial crisis support program based out of Narara Community Centre

  • Central Coast Outreach Services: A volunteer non-government organisation supporting those experiencing hardship with emergency relief, counselling, empowerment and education.

  • Oxfam Trailwalker: One of our brave Account Directors, Debbie Bloffwitch, participated in the grueling physical challenge, and raised money to help fight poverty around the world.

  • Bay to Bay: The single biggest event on the Central Coast to encourage social connection, health and fitness and fundraising for charity. The 2018 Bay to Bay supported Aspect Central Coast School for children on the spectrum, Camp Breakaway for families impacted by a disability, and Central Coast Local Health District Emergency Department of Gosford Hospital.

  • Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF): Another of our staff members, Grant Robertson, is a passionate supporter of this charity and drove a substantial fundraising effort for this worthwhile, and unfortunately growing cause.

  • Orange Sky Laundry: This great organisation supports people with limited access to laundry facilities to wash their clothes for free and connect with the local community at a mobile van on the Central Coast.

Bring on 2019 and another year of community spirit.
