Client in Focus – Pacific Sleep Posted on October 9, 2018
Paul finds satisfaction in providing a cure to his patients without the use of drugs – “Treatment is not especially attractive (wearing a mask) but there are no drugs and it’s a great buzz to get patients feeling fantastic!”
Mr Thierry aims to make more physicians aware of the quality of his services and the “rigour” of the services he provides to his patients. He is currently performing sleep studies on a growing number of patients every week and putting an average of 10 new patients on CPAP a week.
Like every small business, Mr Thierry faces many challenges in the day to day operations of his business. Finding the right staff, training them adequately and also finding the right marketing channels for medical services, have all been a massive challenge over the past few years.
Since starting with 10X, Paul talks about how it has helped with the challenges, “It focuses on core activities and has trained my employees, my team has responded positively and everybody is keen to improve the way they work.”
“The training has helped us in becoming more efficient, meaning we can work less hours!”
Over the next 12 months, Mr Thierry hopes to provide additional services to patients who suffer from low vision, in particular Macular degeneration, a condition unfortunately affecting a growing number of Senior Australians.
In terms of helping the community, Mr Thierry is looking to make more people of the Central Coast aware of the importance of quality sleep in their health, Paul comments ” Humans sleep about 30% of their time, yet often do not pay sufficient attention to the quality of their sleep”
To help Mr Thierry achieve his Business and Financial goals he has been participating in regular coaching with 10X to help keep him remain on task and focused. “10X has countless resources to provide top support to local business.”
Paul talks about mindset shifts in the business for him personally, on delegating work to people who are specialised in their field and spending more time thinking strategically, working on his business and how his team is responding to the changes. “The vibe is positive; all employees seem happy and are managing those changes well.”
Paul is confident for the next 12 months and is passionate to keep making a difference in the sleep, and hopefully expanding into the low vision industry – even hoping to become a coach himself one day.
“A coach is a mirror which can help reflect what is going well and what needs to be improved.”
